Teaching is one of Christy’s great passions. She loves the art of acting, and has a talent for pulling out great performances from her actors.
Christy is one of the only acting teachers in Northern California to teach the Meisner Technique and is also one of the very few people worldwide, to study with Sanford Meisner himself.
Christy discussed her teaching desire with Sanford Meisner when she was in his “lab” and he agreed that she would be a good teacher.
She started teaching in Los Angeles in 1999. She has taught at The Actor’s Group in North Hollywood and at her studio in San Jose. She will be starting classes in San Francisco very soon.
